TRADE
Helping hands

As a direct importer, we are proud to support fair trade by paying a fair price and visiting some of the co-ops.

This is our current fundraising campaign. You can follow our progress via our facebook fan page
As part of our helping hand programme, we will be donating 10% of every purchase to the shea co-op we have adopted in Ghana. This new co-op is based in Gumu-Tamale and the money will be donated towards the development of a facility to provide:
* drying space for shea nuts
* water storage
* preparation shed
* packaging/storage/changing rooms... Read more

* crèche
* nut crackers
* roasters
* bowls for kneading/fetching of water
* cooking pots
* weighing scales
* vacuum heat sealers
..... the list goes on

We are also donating 100% from the sale of our fundraising soap [Salamatu]

By employing the women, they will be able to send their kids to school, provide food and empower them economically. We will also work together to produce good quality butter and shea butter based soaps.

We support educational activities in Ghana as part of our helping hand programme.

We sponsor disadvantaged children especially those orphaned through AIDS. This helps to improve access to education -

Vele is a young disabled boy in Swaziland who we support to be educated. Following an operation on his hare lip, he is now talking ‘a lot more’.

As part of our fair trade commitments, we also help the producers by contributing a percentage on the sale of products which we source directly from Ghana. This is our contribution towards community improvements.

We also empower men and women in the business sector by stretching a helping hand financially - below is our portfolio distribution as of today

BUILDING A BRIGHT FUTURE FOR THE LEADERS OF TOMORROW

Orphaned through no choice of theirs, these children are shown love and compassion through programmes and activities as tools for their holistic development.

The vision is to create a long, loving relationship with the less privileged child, offering ourselves as caring stakeholders.

We are committed to improving the lives of the children at their early stages of life, as this tends to be their character building stage. By translating the best practices of a caring and a supportive environment into opportunities to develop their personalities. We believe success in providing the caring and supportive environment, will not doubtingly, promise a brighter future for each child.

Through programmes and activities, each child is provided a fair playground to develop their innermost abilities and potentials. A fair playground is necessary for these children, as they seem not to have what other children possibly have, a basic one, which is the absence of their nuclear family.

The workforce behind this organisation, is a network of volunteers of youths between the ages of 18 and 25, who are trained to implement such programmes.

We are one family, where no one is left out nor forgotten. Through love and empathy we believe we can empower the children to be confident and march into the future with great hope assured of our support. WE BELIEVE that each child is an asset to the world. They are the leaders of tomorrow.
