GREEN HAIR MONSTER
Here is the recipe I made up:
45g melted unrefined palm kernel oil (PKO)
25g Jamaican Black castor oil (JBCO)
12g fresh root ginger
5g fresh garlic
2g nettles
1 medium egg yolk - I was in a hurry to separate this that I forgot to weigh it :(

Info supplied by Tropic Isle Living:
* MYTH: High Levels of Ash Makes Black Castor Oil better.
This is just not true. What you actually have is a dark castor oil with high levels of burnt carbon caused from over roasting the seeds. This just means that the castor oil has become very acrid. In other words, the darker castor oil get, the more irritants it develops. It becomes sharp and harsh or unpleasantly pungent in taste and odor. This just does not improve its quality.
* MYTH: The thicker the Castor Oil better it is.
Not true. Temperature and preparation method will affect the viscosity. But the thicker it is, the harder it would be for one to receive its healing power due to its inability to penetrate the skin effectively.
I love your Jamaican Black Castor Oil, it's virtually impossible to find it in this country (the real stuff anyway)........ LOVE the way it feels on my hair!! It's very close to what my Nana used to make back home. DOMINIQUE - CAMBRIDGE
..... the JBCO (which is impossible to find in the UK) is another great product. ALECIA - NOTTINGHAM
